How does the survey process work?
Vessels will typically be hauled out/launched so that a full inspection can occur (ie. bottom deck, top sides, running gear, underwater body of the boat, propulsion, etc.)
Who arranges to haul out or launch?
McDonough Marine Surveyors are not responsible for orchestrating or reserving haul outs. The buyer, seller or broker is responsible for arranging the haul out or launch.
When will I get my survey?
Seasonal business fluctuates as do survey delivery times. Surveys are typically delivered within two to four days. No reports are released before full payment is received by McDonough Marine Surveyors.
